Glymp is running a Campus Ambassador program open to students at any college in Mumbai right now.
Here is what it actually is, what it asks of you, and what you actually get, without the sales pitch.
What It Is
A part-time, unpaid-by-default role (top performers earn cash on top of coins) for students who already know their campus well: which canteen stall is worth it, which tailor delivers on time, which print shop doesn't.
It is not an internship in the traditional sense. It is not a guaranteed job. It is a way to get recognised and modestly rewarded for local knowledge you probably already share for free.
Straight answers, up front
What it is
What it isn't
If your phone looks like this, you already do the job
Riya
Which print shop near college won't mess up my binding?
Kabir
Canteen stall that's actually worth it? The main one is always packed
Sana
Tailor who can fix my blazer before placements?
Dev
Where do we get decent chai after the 6pm lecture?
You already answer these. This program just notices.
Where It's Live
Any
College in Mumbai
Small
Founding batch, on purpose
Not yet
Outside Mumbai
Any student, at any college in Mumbai, can apply. It is not available outside Mumbai yet.
We are keeping the founding batch small deliberately, so acceptance isn't automatic just because you applied. This is not a mass rollout.
What You'd Actually Do
Three things:
Post Spots
Share real finds from your campus as a Spot on Glymp: a store, a stall, a service. It's tied to your campus, stays up permanently, and is visible to anyone browsing Glymp there.
Bring people onto the app
Get classmates or hostel-mates to download and use Glymp. That might mean a coin-hunt activation during a fest, a table at orientation, or just word of mouth.
Give feedback
Tell us what's not working. You get earlier visibility into upcoming features than the general public, not a formal advisory role.
What a campus Spot looks like
“Print shop behind the library. Binds a project report in 20 minutes and doesn't smudge the colour pages.”
Riya
2nd year, same campus
An example Spot, for illustration
That's the full scope. There isn't a hidden fourth responsibility that shows up later.
What You Actually Get
Campus Ambassador
Sound like you? Read the full details and apply.
Any college in Mumbai. Founding batch, kept small.
What you get
Every reward, with its condition printed right next to it.
Glymp Coins
For Spots, referrals, and completed tasks, redeemable at real local shops.
Cash
For top performers only, based on a monthly leaderboard. Most ambassadors will earn coins; not everyone will earn cash every month.
Certificate of completion
At the end of the programme.
LinkedIn recommendation
From the Glymp team, if your contribution merits one. This is not automatic for every applicant who completes the programme; it's tied to actual performance.
Internship consideration
First consideration, not a guarantee, for internship openings at Glymp, if and when they come up.
The "if" and the "not guaranteed" are printed on purpose.
We're stating the "if" and "not guaranteed" parts on purpose. This is a resume-building, coin-earning side activity for people who are already doing informal versions of this work. It is not a paid job offer, and we don't want anyone applying under the impression that it is.
Time Commitment and Expectations

Roughly 2 to 3 hours a week, fitted around classes, not instead of them.
Roughly 2 to 3 hours a week, flexible around classes. No minimum follower count, no portfolio, no marketing experience required.
What we actually screen for
Whether you have real, existing credibility on your own campus, meaning people already ask you for recommendations, not whether you present well in an application form.

Should You Apply
Apply if
Don't apply expecting
Apply if you already do a version of this for free and wouldn't mind a structured way to get some recognition and coins for it, with a chance at cash and, eventually, other opportunities with us.
Don't apply expecting a paid internship, a guaranteed job outcome, or a large time commitment that competes with coursework. That's not what this is.
Apply at glymp.app/campus-ambassador. Glymp is a hyperlocal discovery app, live across Mumbai.
No pitch. Just the details.
