What are Glymp Coins?
Glymp Coins are points you earn for checking in at shops, writing reviews and posting on Glymp. You spend them on deals at participating local stores. They aren't money or cryptocurrency and can't be exchanged for cash.
How do I earn Glymp Coins?
Earn coins by checking in at stores, leaving reviews, creating posts, curating public collections, and inviting friends or local stores to Glymp. Each action has a set coin value, and every live value is listed on this page.
How do I redeem my coins?
At a participating store, the owner scans your Glymp QR with the Glymp Business app and applies the discount. They may ask for your app code, which is in the Profile section of your Glymp app.
Do coins expire?
Yes, coin validity varies by the action that earned them. Expiry dates are visible in your Glymp wallet so you always know how long you have before they lapse.
What happens if I don't use my coins in time?
Unused coins expire at the end of their validity period and are removed from your balance. You can see your coin history and expiry dates in your wallet inside the app.
Can stores earn coins too?
Yes. Businesses listed on Glymp earn coins for posting store updates, verifying their profile, inviting fellow stores, and inviting customers. Stores redeem coins to run locality campaigns, promote posts, and get featured in the discovery feed.
Are Glymp Coins a cryptocurrency?
No. Glymp Coins are in-app reward tokens: not a financial instrument, not a cryptocurrency, and not transferable outside the Glymp platform. They exist solely to reward community participation.
